According to DigiTimes, the Cupertino-based tech company has established new job opportunities for individuals with expertise in chip probing and analysis. Chip probing is a test that is performed to identify flaws in the electrical design of a chipset at different stages of the design. These positions are available at Xintec, an Apple chip manufacturing partner that is also a subsidiary of TSMC, one of the world’s biggest semiconductor makers and a major supplier to the iPhone. TSMC is allegedly working on the A15 chipset for the next iPhone 13 series, according to reports. Xintec has also supplied components for the iPhone SE and iPhone SE 2020, as well as other Apple products.
This is in accordance with the forecasts made by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according to the supply chains. He has previously said that a new iPhone SE may be released in the first part of next year, if not sooner. Although Kuo did not provide a specific release date, his forecasts have proven to be largely accurate, indicating that the iPhone SE 3 will most certainly be released next year. In terms of specs, there are rumours that the iPhone SE 3 will be similar to the iPhone SE 2020 in terms of design and functionality. In other words, the iPhone SE 3 will have a single camera on the rear and a single camera on the front, much like the iPhone SE 2. This phone is most likely to be powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chipset, which is also found in the iPhone 12 series. It’s important to remember that the iPhone SE 3 is expected to be released in 2022, which means that the A14 CPU will be more than a year old by that time. The iPhone SE 3 is also expected to have a 6.1-inch display, according to reports. A 5.4-inch screen, however, has been speculated about in the past, according to several sources. There is currently no information on whether or not a notch will be present. On the basis of the leaks, several renderings produced by Apple Lab excitedly suggest that the iPhone SE 3 will also feature a punch-hole on the display, a pill-shaped platform for the camera and flash on the rear, and an integrated fingerprint sensor with Touch ID technology built into the display. All of that seems to be a stretch for a phone that will be positioned at the bottom of the iPhone’s organizational structure. The iPhone SE 2020 was introduced in India at a price of Rs 42,500 for the basic model, which indicates that the iPhone SE 3 pricing in India would be in the vicinity of that price range.
